What we can’t clean
Unfortunately, there are some things we don’t clean as part of our commercial cleaning service:
1. Light bulbs and fixtures: Light bulbs and fixtures tend to be quite fragile, which make them quite difficult to clean. Due to the liability involved, we tend not to clean these.
2. Outside windows: Outside windows often require ladders and specialised equipment to clean properly. Due to this and health and safety reasons, our cleaners are only instructed to clean easy to reach sides of your windows.
When and how often will you clean?
From our experience, most offices opt for a daily clean between Monday and Friday, while others only prefer to do this a couple of times each week. We can also provide weekend cleaning services so that your office is neat and clean to start work the following Monday.

1. What does this service include?
Our cleaners follow a cleaning checklist when cleaning your work premises. If there are areas you would like us to prioritise or give more attention to, please contact us or provide the details in our booking form.
2. How do you vet your professional cleaners?
Our professional cleaners are extensively vetted through a rigorous application process. This process comprises of CV checking, phone interviews, video interviews and test cleans. Less than 1% of applicants are successful in securing work with us. This helps ensure that the cleaner that walks into your doors is trusted, effective and reliable.
3. Do you bring your own cleaning products?
Yes, our office cleaners come prepared with all the cleaning materials needed to clean your office. We only ask that you provide a vacuum cleaner, mop and bucket as our cleaners don’t carry these.
4. Can the cleaner wash carpets and clean windows from the outside?
Your office cleaner can only hoover the carpet and clean windows from the inside. Cleaning outside windows can be a safety hazard for our cleaners and we don’t offer carpet cleaning services at this stage.
5. Can I have the same office cleaner each week?
We do our best to ensure that you are matched you to your preffered office cleaner. However, unless you have booked a recurring cleaning service, this may not always be possible as your cleaner may be booked onto other jobs for certain times in the week.
6. Can I get a different cleaner then?
Ofcourse you can! Let us know which cleaner you would prefer to work with instead and we can try to assign them to your job. If you don’t have a preference, we can assign the cleaner that we think is best suited to your unique situation.
7. What if I’m not happy with my office cleaning?
At glimmr, we aim to provide a 10/10 clean for our clients time after time. If for any reason, you feel that a clean was not up to standard, reach out to us and we will make it right.
If you’re not happy with the service, we will in most cases send a replacement cleaner to provide a re-clean. If you’re still not happy, we will refund 200% of your money back. No ifs or buts. That’s how seriously we take quality.
8. Are there any hidden charges?
We don’t believe in adding hidden charges. It annoys you and makes us feel unethical, so what you see is always what you get with glimmr.
